Try some basic leg lift exercises. Lay on the floor, back and knees straight, feet together, arms by your sides. Now lift your heels to about 6 inches from the floor, hold them there for a few seconds, maybe do a slow count to 5, then back down to rest. Count to 5 again then lift. Keep repeating the exercise at a steady pace.
You should start to feel the strain in your tummy region very quickly. As you get more used to the exercise you can try holding your feet for longer, also spreading your feet and legs apart while in the air for the count of 5 starts to use even more muscles.
Keep doing that exercise at least daily, for as long as you feel comfortable with, maybe no more than 15 minutes a day is sufficient, but whatever you feel you can cope with. Within a few weeks you should start to see a noticeable improvement as the tummy fat turns into nicely toned abs.

The beauty of this exercise is that it requires nothing but a comfortable flat surface to lie on. Also combine with the usual swimming, cycling and good old jogging and walking to get a good all-round workout. Basic rule of thumb is, don’t overdo it. "No pain no gain" may well be the motto, but once it starts to hurt, you’ve done enough for the day.

You have to get some good cardio going. Aerobic exercise…jogging, dancing, whatever makes you feel good and get your heart rate up for a while. Plus you’ll probably need to look at what youre consuming also…several small means are better than a couple big ones. Last tip…lots and lots of water. Everything in moderation so take it easy because slow and steady will keep the wieght off.

You need to concentrate on doing intense cardio exercises (running, jogging, swimming). Although not possible to target the fat with any specific exercises, cardio will burn fat evenly throughout your entire body. Do 20-30 minutes every other day, as intense as you can do for that amount of time.
