is the weight watchers scale wrong, or is mine?

on my scale at home it says im 10 pounds heavier then the one at weight watchers, my scale was a very expensive, digital one, its also weight wathers brand. So whos is wrong….?

right now ww is having a free enrollment. Go to weightwatchers.com and find where the next meeting in your town is. You just have to pay for the weekly or monthly cost and the price of books. I dont belive they make you buy the books. GL

how much weight loss on weight watchers?

I’m 5′6- 180 lbs, I stated weight watchers three weeks ago, so far its going good! I haven’t weighed myself sense, because loosing a pound a week will not keep me motivated, so i just decided to stick to the diet and not weight my self for a while. Anyways, I would like to loose about 30 pounds in 6 months (more would be good) , is it possible i may loose more? How much have you lost on the program?

They say 2 pounds a week. It has not been a successful program for me. But that is what they estimate is possible – 8 pounds a month.

How do you erase the memory on the WW30WB model Weight Watcher Scale?

I cant find the instructions on how to operate this Weight Watcher Scale, and could anyone who has one of the Weight Watcher Scales let me know how to erase the pound memory on it?
Ive taken out the battery, and left them out for a very long time, but to no avail… the previous pounds show again once the battery is installed again. Thank you.

How to lose weight while smoking?

What is most effective way of losing weight while smoking? I intend to stop smoking soon, but am struggling to do both at once at the moment. I have started a weigt watchers program too, maybe a week or twos grace would be enough. Any ideas?

drink alot of water.. i mean alot . at least 2 cups before every meal, because when you do quit smoking your appetite will skyrocket

I am having if i cant use weight wathers any more? I liked ww because I could keep track of what my daily allowence was. I know i should eat healthy ofcourse but how can i keep track when i eat chocolate and other things. i dont want to cut every thing low fat out, that would deppress me.

There’s an old saying with pregnancy " a little of what you fancy does you good". A little bit of chocolate won’t do you any harm. Consult your doctor about your concerns, you will be able to get some advice from there about what is good and what is not good for you to eat. The calorie intake of a pregnant or nursing mother will be higher than that of an average woman.

Be kind to yourself. I don’t think you can worry about your weight, lets face it you are going to put some on, and that is normal. You can always go back to weight watchers after you have your baby.

How can I calculate Weight Watcher exercise points based on heart monitor information?

I would like to accurately monitor my Weight WAtcher activity points using my heart rate monitor. I use the exercise guide available to me but I’d like to be more accurate. Any ideas?

There are several possible ways. One is to subtract your age from 220, and that would give you your maximum rate. Also some use your weight as a guide line for target, and maximum rates within 50% and 80%, Another would be how long it takes you to return to your basic rate after an exercise. This would improve as you get more fit. The source I used gives a good description of several ranges. Other sites are afraid and say you need to ask your doctor. This would at least hopefully rule out reason not to exercise or stress your heart. One should be that you can still carry on a conversation so you’re not so short of breath. Raising a sweat 3 times a week is another suggestion. Know your BMR or basic metabolic rate chart to see your health risks associated with weight. Good luck.
