How do you follow the Weight Watchers Momentum Plan with old or no materials?

My friend and I are rally interested in the Weight Watchers Momentum plan and we think it may help us lose the weight. However, I cannot afford materials or meetings. I have old materials (from a couple years ago).

How can I follow the Momentum Plan using old materials?

Follow your points plan, but try to eat more foods on the "core" list. Make sure you get enough exercise.

Can you help me find this old Weight Watchers recipe?

I’m a college student and trying to get rid of the "freshman 15" and when my mom was on Weight Watchers when I was a kid there was this chicken enchilada recipe I just loved. All we can remember about it was that it was a sour cream and cream of mushroom soup base, and there was a can of green chiles in it. We dont have the recipe because we lost all our old recipes in Katrina. Any help?

LOW-CALORIE CHICKEN ENCHILADAS

16 oz. boiled boned chicken, in pieces
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
8 tsp. reduced calorie butter/margarine
1 can weight watchers cream of mushroom soup
8 oz. mild Mexican Cheez Whiz
1 c. weight watchers sour cream
1 can chopped green chili peppers
8 (6 inch) corn tortillas, torn in pieces
2 oz. grated Cheddar cheese

Saute onion and bell pepper in butter until tender. Reduce heat to simmer and add soup and Cheez Whiz. Stir until cheese is melted. Remove from heat, add sour cream and chilies.
In a casserole dish, sprayed with a nonstick spray, layer four torn tortillas, 1/2 of the chicken, 1/2 of the cheese and soup mixture. Repeat. Sprinkle top with grated cheese. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.

How difficult is weight watchers to follow and do you get really hungry?

I really don’t have the money but I’m thinking about going to weight watchers as I want a "diet" that is real food not shakes and supplements. Is is difficult to follow and shop for and cook for? Do you get enough food that you’re not hungry or at least not next to starvation hungry? What’s the best way to go, core or points? Did it work for you or at least help you?

its not really hard to follow, but it does requires discipline. the best thing to do have 3 main meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eating in portions is the key factor here, but sometimes its hard when you are hungrey and used to full sized meals.You can also have snacks in between if you are hungrey but you have to be mindful of what you eat. If you are hungrey just grab an apple, a small salad, a protein bar, grapes, tuna sandwich, etc. just something to help with the hunger. also, it helps if you drink alot of water because sometimes when the body says its hungrey its actually thirsty. good luck with your weight lost endeavors.

Is there any way to do weight watchers without signing up?

I cannot afford to sign up for weight watchers, so I was wondering if there are any free online resources to help me do it on my own. My friend has a book so I already know that I have a 22 daily point total, but I can’t ask him about every thing I eat.

How many points on weight watchers can i consume in a day?

I recently came across all the information that is needed to help lose weight from weight watchers, i recieved the points counter and the booklet, But i was wondering, i am 5 foot 9 and i weigh190 i would like to lose 40-50 pounds, But i have no idea how many points in a day i can consume for my weight.. Does anyone who has been threw weight watchers have any idea? If so please let me kno…. Thanks so Much

Weight watchers is based on calorie counting, so if you want to do that instead (since most food packets have the calories written on them):

Your body needs a certain amount of fuel (food) each day to stay alive and do any exercise/activities that you’re involved in. If you eat slightly less than this amount then your body will burn fat to make up the difference. If you eat way less than this amount, you’ll go into starvation mode and won’t lose anything.

Figure out how many calories you need to eat each day to lose weight, how many extra calories you burn through exercise, and how many calories are in the foods you eat. You can do all of that here:

How many weight watchers points are in a Mcdonald’s Southwest Salad?

Ok, had a grilled chicken Southwest salad from Mcdonald’s tonight for dinner. Had it with the dressing and the croutons. Does anyone know how many weight watchers points this is?

320 cals 9 fat and 10 fiber = 6 pts (salad)
60 cals 3 fat and 1 fiber= 1 pt (croutons)
100 cals 6 fat 0 fiber=3 pts (Newmans Southwest Dressing)

As for the comment made that you wouldn’t be eating at McDonalds if you were on weight watchers…well they don’t know the program. 10 pts isn’t bad if thats how you want to spend 10 points. Great Job keeping track. Olive Garden provides nutrional information at the restaurant if you ask and most have websites you can get the information from when you find you have no alternative but to eat in those places. What’s the difference between men and women weight watchers?

I’m thinking about joining weight watchers to lose a few lbs. I’m a male, but I’m transgendered, and I want a more feminine figure, not a masculine figure. I already have wide hip bones, but my upper body fat is kind of a problem. Would choosing women weight watchers make a difference?

There is no man or woman weight watchers its for everyone. Men as a rule tend to lose more body fat quicker than females so I don’t know if that helps you out… you can always sit in on a meeting before you decide and talk to someone there to find out if their program is for you.

How can I get a weight watchers promotion code for the online version?

I’d like to re-sign up for the online version of weight watchers. When signing up, it asks for a promotion code. How do I get one? I can’t seem to find one online. Do I have to go to a meeting to get one or something of that nature?

Weight Watchers has moved away from the promotion code – even thought there is still a box for it on the website. It is a little confusing… When I asked, they told me that they were trying out online coupons instead. The coupon gives you over 25% off your first three months. How important is health on Weight Watchers or is it simply a way to lose weight?

Weight watchers is not exactly a diet but a lifestyle makeover that helps overweight people get back into the healthy norm.

It is an easier way to lose weight which is probably slower than any other diet because it makes you eat a certain amount of calories (the points) and makes it mandatory. Also it suggests ways to get those calories through which you can be full but still lose weight.

I think it’s the most efficient way to lose weight.

How many weight watchers points in a bottle of weight watchers wine?

I drank a full bottle of weight watchers rose wine which is 1 point a glass but i cant remeber how many glasses i had so how much is it for the whole bottle?

I never heard of Weight Watchers Wine before? Is it new? The best thing is drink a glass of Red Wine with dinner..Its heart healthy and provides antioxidants you need.

Drink in moderation though..
