The Crunch-less Crunch
Try this one if your tired of doing
multiple crunches and not seeing the
results you want. Lie down on
the floor as if you are going to do a normal
crunch. Instead of raising your body towards
your knees, just contract your abdominal muscles
for 10 seconds and release. Do 10 reps.
Travelling Crunch
Get on the floor, ready to do crunches. Ensure
that, as you do them, you only use your
abdominal muscles to lift your head off the
floor. Also make sure to keep you chin tucked
against your chest. As you lift, contract your abs and gently
turn your right side towards your left knee.
Have a short rest and then do the same for you left side and
right knee. It is important that your abs remain
contracted the entire time you do this exercise.
Leg Raises
Start off by lying on the floor facing the ceiling with your
legs straight out in front of you. Contract your
abs and use your abs muscles to raise your legs
off the floor. Keep going until your legs are at
a right angle to floor, pointing to the ceiling.
Keep your abs contracted and lower your legs.
Rest for five to ten seconds between each rep.
Out To The Side
Repeat the leg raise from the above exercise. Instead of lowering your legs
back in front of you, lower them to the right
side. Keep your abs contracted at all times.
Raise your legs again and then lower them to the
left side. They should be at right angles to
your body when they are lowered to your sides.
